Covid-19 Corona Virus from LashBar™
Last Update: Saturday, April 30, 2020
On April 28th, Governor Newsom released a plan to reopen California. On twitter, he mentions that salons are considered high risk environments and unfortunately, this means that we will not be reopening until we reach stage 3 of his plan. We are still hopeful that our city and state will update their plan to have salons open up sooner rather than later.
We remain committed to the safety and well being of our customers and employees and will continue to update and refine our guidelines in accordance with state requirements once open. Please take a look at our updated policies for more appointment and service information.
These past couple of weeks San Diego has reopened a few parks and beaches as restlessness in our community has increased. With the parks and beaches reopening, we have seen an increase in total cases. Please keep in mind that it is not meant for us to gather at these places but to give us an opportunity to get out there and stretch our legs a bit. It is important to continue to practice social distancing and don’t forget your facial covering.
Let's work together to bring about stage 3 sooner than then government officials believe possible.
If you have any appointments booked, they are effectively cancelled. No cancellation fees will be applied. Memberships will remain frozen.
Booking your next appointment
We will not be accepting any appointments until further notice. Once the state and city gives us the green light to resume business, you will be the first to know via email, text, and of course our mobile app.
When we do reopen, please be sure to book for full sets. We want to ensure you get the full time required to get the results you have been accustomed to here at LashBar™. As always, we are here to take care of you :)
We will be offering current clients our friends and family discount of 20% off all services when we reopen because during these trying times, we are all family and must help each other the best we can. If you have a membership with us, you may use your membership credits towards your new full set.
Want to save money?
To help us through this tough time, you can now buy gift cards online! For a limited time, buy $100 and get $129!
Stay safe and protect others
“Starting May 1, everyone must wear face coverings anywhere in public they come within 6 feet of another person.” Please visit San Diego's Health Order website for more information.
Please send us an email, text, or instagram us. We love hearing from you :)
We can't wait to see you again.

Previous Update: Thursday, March 12, 2020
With the recent concern of COVID- 19, there is nothing more important at this time than the health and hygiene of our clients and stylists. All LashBar’s™ will continue to follow all State mandated health and safety regulations daily. According to the most recent information from the CDC, for most people, the immediate risk of being exposed to the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low. However, with continued concerns, we wanted to take a moment to assure you of our regular and ongoing attention to your health and safety regarding our sanitation and cleaning practices.
All tools and tweezers are properly sanitized before and after every lash service using sanitizing procedures mandated by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology.
With each new client, our stylists dispose of used bed cover sheets and replace with a fresh and unused bed sheet.
With each client, we use disposable brushes which are disposed of after each client.
It has previously been optional for our stylists to wear a mask during services. However, it is now mandatory that all our stylists use filter masks for all services.
Before opening and closing our salons, all surfaces are wiped down with antiviral wipes. This is also done after each client.
Stylists wash, clean, and sanitize their hands between each client according to what is recommended by the CDC..
Also, as a courtesy to our clients, we will be offering the following for each service:
A disposable mask upon request (while supplies lasts)
Hand sanitizer at our front desk, lash stations, and restrooms.
Additionally, the CDC is recommending the general public follow these additional health precautions:
Wash your hands often with soap and water, for at least 20 seconds
Use alcohol based sanitizer (60%)
Clean and disinfect household items and any items you regularly touch; phone, doorknobs, countertops
Avoid exposure to other people who may be sick
Do not go out in public if you are sick
Avoid touching surfaces in public; counters, doors, touch-screens
Avoid touching your face; eyes, mouth, nose
As a precaution to other clients and our stylists, please do not come into LashBar™ if you are feeling unwell. Please call us and we can discuss your situation and make alternative arrangements. Please be assured that we will be asking our stylists who feel unwell to stay home as well.
Thank you for your patience and trust in LashBar™. We are prepared to navigate through these challenging circumstances with your safety and confidence in LashBar™ at the forefront of everything we do.
We look forward to continuing to serve you.
